Nvidia FX 5500 Final problem
Ok, I fixed the graphic card's problem of flivckering the screen, and blacking it out. Now the only problem is with guild wars factions. I play it on high quality, all settings high. Great. But about every 2-8 minutes, it will randomly freeze up for 30-50 seconds, and come back. I realized this was no lag after a few times it did it. Please tell me how to fix this, It may be the last problem I have with this card.

If you have the "Wait for Vertical Sync" box unchecked in your graphics options, try checking it. I know that sometimes when my textures don't fully load, if I check that it takes care of the problem.
If you HAVE it checked, try unchecking it. Never know, it could help. If neither of those helps, try updating your GFX card drivers to the latest versions. They MAY be available through Microsoft's Windows Update. If not there, try the manufacturer's website. |
